Carbon Footprint and Environmental Impact

At the Ecotent, participants can learn all about their carbon footprint and get a better understanding of their environmental impact by using a one-minute calculator.
Free Bike Checks

Representatives from the Alcatel-Lucent Switchbacks will be on hand to offer free bike checks and tune-ups.
Free Inline Skating Lessons
Dates: Every Sunday, from May 23 to September 5*

Members of the Ottawa Inline Skating Club will offer free, one-hour instructional sessions on braking, turning and stride improvement. Patrollers from the Club will also be out and about on Colonel By Drive, ready to provide inline skating tips and advice, with a special emphasis on safety.
Helmet Fitting and Recreational Safety
Dates and Locations: June 6, 13, 20, and July 18 and 25 on Colonel By Drive (near Clegg Street and Echo Drive); July 11 and August 15 on Rockcliffe Parkway (P8 parking lot)

Members of the Ottawa Public Health and the Pathway Patrollers will offer instructional sessions on helmet fitting and recreational safety tips.
* With the exception of Sunday, May 30, when Alcatel-Lucent Sunday Bikedays is cancelled on Colonel By Drive for the National Capital Race Weekend.
